New Music :: News / Artists
The New Music department is a rapidly growing division of the music department at WAAPA. It produces students with majors in Jazz, Classical and electronic composition through undergraduate and postgraduate programs. WAAPA sees many visiting New Music artists, holds a composer in residence program and is active performing new music in the community.
Staff in the Composition department include Cat Hope (coordinator), Dr Malcolm Riddoch, Stuart James and Lindsay Vickery.
